Test track is about to close down for quit some time later this year (approx. late april 2012) for a major rehab.

Chevrolet might take over the whole concept and will do a big makeover. They announced an interactive queue line where you will be able to create your own car. At the track you'll be a dummy to test out your created car. (something similar to this). The job might take more then 6 months. Reopening is planned somewhere september 2012.

There are some rumours that SplitsVille will be coming to WDW. WDW said they're building an new entertainment center. SplitsVille will be an 50.000 square foot big bowling, billiard, dining & music entertainment hall. Building will start this fall, in de former RideMarkerz place at The West Side of DownTown Disney.

Opening fall 2012

Due to reevaluating issues WDW did put the whole Hyperian Wharf concept on hold indefenitly. So far WDW doesn't want to give any more information about future plans with the concept. The former Pleasure Island has been closed down since 2008. Hyperian Wharf was the new concept with a stylish back-to-the-50's concept.

The actual plan was to open an Amphitheater this summer and the rest would be finished somewhere early 2013.
